Please note that wallet connections are read-only, and for tracking purposes only. Quadency does NOT have the ability to transact (buy, sell, or transfer) via these connections. In the initial release, transactions are not synchronized and therefore values such as cost basis and return will be empty. This improvement is coming soon.

How to connect my external wallets?

To connect a wallet, click the "ADD ACCOUNT" button in your Portfolio, Dashboard, or "My Accounts" tab or, and select the Wallet Connect option.

Depending on the wallet you wish to connect, please follow the steps below accordingly:

I want to connect a Hardware wallet

Ledger

First of all, make sure your Ledger is connected to your device and switched on.

  • Select Ledger

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Select which blockchain you want to connect, and open the related app on your Ledger

  • Follow the steps indicated on the screen.

  • Congrats, your Ledger account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

Note: Two types of Bitcoin addresses are supported by Ledger, Segwit and Native Segwit. You need to make sure to select the correct type or the connection won't be successful. Follow the steps below to know which address to select:

  1. Open your Ledger Live app.

  2. Go to Account, then click on Bitcoin.

  3. Click on Receive, a pop-up will appear, click on Continue.

  4. Connect and Open the Bitcoin app on your Ledger.

  5. You will be asked to verify and confirm your address on your Ledger.

  • Native SegWit address start with “bc1”

  • SegWit address start with "3"

I want to connect an Online Wallet

Celsius

Coinbase | Wallet

  • Select Coinbase | Wallet

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Select which blockchain you want to connect: Bitcoin or Ethereum

  • Find your address

  1. Access the Wallet screen on your Coinbase | Wallet App

  2. Tap Receive

  3. Select either Bitcoin (to link a bitcoin address) or Ethereum (to link and Ethereum address)

  4. From here you can tap on Copy or Share Address

  • Paste the address copied into the Blockchain Address field on Quadency and select the relevant Blockchain.

  • Click Connect Account

  • Congrats, your Bitcoin/Ethereum on Coinbase | Wallet App is now connected to your Quadency account.

  • You can repeat the steps above if you wish to connect to another blockchain.

Dharma

  • Select Dharma

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Enter your Blockchain Address.

  • Find your address:

  • Open the Dharma app on your phone

  • On the Home tab, click the QR code in the top right corner

  • Copy the Ethereum wallet address shown

  • Paste the Ethereum wallet address shown

  • Click ‘Connect Account

  • Congrats, your Ethereum on Dharma is now connected to your Quadency account.

Exodus

  • Select Exodus

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Paste the address copied into the Blockchain Address field on Quadency and select the appropriate Blockchain.

  1. Open your Exodus App

  2. Select the wallet you wish to export (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, others)

  3. In the top right of the window, click the icon with the three vertical dots

  4. Click "Export Address", which should create a folder on your desktop with a file

  5. Open the file ("bitcoin-addresses-20XX....") and copy your address

  • Paste the wallet address shown

  • Click ‘Connect Account

  • Congrats, your Exodus account is now connected to your Quadency account.

  • You can repeat the steps above if you wish to connect to another blockchain.

Metamask

  • Select MetaMask

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • A second page will appear with the Metamask Logo, click on connect account

  • You will be asked to unlock your MetaMask Wallet, enter your password and unlock it

  • Select the accounts you want to connect with Quadency, click next

  • Allow viewing the addresses you just permitted (required), click on connect

  • Congrats, your Metamask Wallet is now connected to your Quadency account.

Trust Wallet

  • Select Trust Wallet

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Select which blockchain you want to connect: Bitcoin or Ethereum

  1. To get your address: access the Main Wallet screen on your Trust Wallet App.

  2. Tap either on Bitcoin (to link a bitcoin address) or Ethereum (to link and Ethereum address)

  3. From here you can tap on Copy to get the address

  • Paste the address copied into the Blockchain Address field on Quadency and select the relevant Blockchain.

  • Click Connect Account

  • Congrats, your Bitcoin/Ethereum on Trust Wallet is now connected to your Quadency account.

  • You can repeat the steps above if you wish to connect to another blockchain.


I want to connect an Exchange Account

Note: Exchange accounts linked via Wallet Connect are for monitoring purposes only and you can not trade on these.

BitFlyer

  • Select BitFlyer

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to enter your API and Secret keys, follow the steps below to access them:

    1. Log into your account.

    2. Click on the menu on the top left of the page and then click "API".

    3. Click the orange 'Generate New Key' button.

    4. Label your API key and enable the ‘Get Accounts Assets Balance’, then press 'OK'.

    5. Your BitFlyer balance tracking API is now created and is ready to be added. Copy and paste the API key and Secret key. Press the orange 'Show' button to see your secret key.

  • Enter your new API and Secret Keys into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your BitFlyer account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

BitMEX

  • Select BitMEX

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to enter your API and Secret keys, follow the steps below to access them:

    1. Log into your BitMEX account

    2. Navigate to API and then API Key Management

    3. Enter a Name and select Order for Key Permissions (Note - you only need to select read-only data).

    4. Enter a 2FA code if required.

    5. Click Create API Key.

NOTE: The secret key will only be available this one time, so complete the next part before leaving the view

  • Enter your new API and Secret Keys into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your BitMEX account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

Bitstamp

  • Select Bitstamp

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to enter your API and Secret keys, follow the steps below to access them:

    1. Log into your Bitstamp account

    2. Click on Account in the top right corner.

    3. Click Security on the left sidebar and then API Access.

    4. Select the permissions Account balance and User transactions under General permissions.

    5. Click Submit and enter 2FA if required.

    6. Copy your API Key and Secret Key - the Secret key will not be shown again.

    7. Click Activate and follow the email link to activate your API key.

  • Enter your new API and Secret Keys into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your Bitstamp account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

Bybit

  • Select Bybit

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to enter your API and Secret keys, follow the steps below to access them:

  1. Log into your Bybit account - 2FA required

  2. Click on your account in the top right-hand corner and select API from the drop-down menu

  3. Click the ‘Create New Key’ button to the right of the screen

  4. Select 'API Transaction', give your key a name

  5. Select Active Order and Positions

  6. Check the read only checkbox and submit

  • Enter your new API and Secret Keys into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your Bybit account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

Coinbase

  • Select Coinbase

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to log into your Coinbase account, click on Connect Account. You will be redirected to Coinbase to log in.

  • You will be required to authorize Zabo to connect to your Coinbase account, read the details, and click on Authorize.

  • Congrats, your Coinbase account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

Coinsquare

  • Select Coinsquare

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Enter the username, password of your Coinsquare account and select ‘Connect Account’.

  • Congrats, your Coinsquare account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

FTX

  • Select FTX

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • To get your API and secret Key:

  • Enter your new API and Secret Keys into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your FTX account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

Gate.io

  • Select Gate.io

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to enter your API and Secret keys, follow the steps below to access them:

  1. Log into your Gate.io account - 2FA required

  2. Click on your user name in the top right corner

  3. On the next screen scroll to Security Settings on the left side of the screen and click on API KEYS

  4. Enter your special Fund Password and the Authorization Code

  5. Select API Key Read-Only to ensure your new API Key works

NOTE: Save your Secret Key somewhere safe because it will NEVER BE SHOWN AGAIN

  • Enter your new API and Secret Key into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your Gate.io account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

Huobi

  • Select Huobi

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to enter your API and Secret keys, follow the steps below to access them:

  1. Log in to Huobi and hover over your email in the top right corner

  2. Select "API Management"

  3. Input a label in the "Notes" input, such as "Zabo"

  4. Click "Create" and check your email

  5. Use the code in the email received from Huobi to complete the security verification and click Continue

NOTE: The secret key will only be available this one time, so complete the next part before leaving the view

  • Enter your new API and Secret Keys into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your Huobi account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.

OKCoin

  • Select OKCoin

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • You will be prompted to enter your API, Secret key and Passphrase

    • Once logged into OkCoin you will need to hover over your account name in the upper-right and click on "Settings".

    • Next, click "My API" under Trading Settings

    • Next, click the blue "Create new API" shown in the screenshot above and it will take you to this screen. Name your API, enable "Trade" but not "withdraw" and enter your Google code. Then Press "Confirm"

    • Now that your API has been created, click "view" under the Action column on the right.

    • Below is what your screen will now look like. Be sure to save your secret key in a safe spot before adding it to Coinigy.

  • Enter your new API and Secret Keys into the fields on Quadency.

  • Click Connect Account.

  • Congrats, your OKCoin account is now connected and your assets are monitored by Quadency.


I want to connect a Public Address

Bitcoin

  • Select Bitcoin

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Enter the Bitcoin address, click connect account

  • Congratulations you have successfully connected your address to Quadency

Ethereum

  • Select Ethereum

  • A popup will appear, click continue

  • Enter the Ethereum address, click connect account

  • Congratulations you have successfully connected your address to Quadency
